First Annual Tough Like Tommy Spaghetti Dinner Benefit
Helping to Spread Awareness for Cerebral Palsy
We are excited to announce a Spaghetti Dinner benefit for our son, Tommy, aimed to help raise funds for an upcoming two-week DMI therapy intensive in Florida, and to help spread awareness on Cerebral Palsy in our community.
The benefit will take place on Sunday, March 30th 2025, from 3 PM to 6 PM at Rifici's Restaurant in Absecon, NJ.
Please note the ticket website asks for donations to their own 'Zeffy' website, but you can select a custom donation and enter $0.00 to ensure you are not charged any additional fees. Those donations are how Zeffy remains free to use for fundraising and non-profits.
Tickets will be available at the door for the same cost of $20
Everyone is invited to attend, there will be no charge for children under 12, and tickets can be purchased at the door, or online in advance.
We will have pasta, meatballs, salad and bread, and proceeds from each ticket sale go directly towards the cause. In addition, Rifici's has agreed to donate a portion of every domestic or imported beer sale to ToughLikeTommy. There will be a penny social, a silent auction, a 50/50, different auction items donated from local businesses supporting this wonderful cause, live music (possible local legend Steve?), and activities for children like a face painting station and auction items for younger kids. We will also hear from a guest speaker about Cerebral Palsy, and will have resources available to help the community learn more about the condition and how it affects life and development.
Our son will be at the event, and any attendance or support of any kind is greatly appreciated. This will be an amazing opportunity to meet Tommy and become part of his support team.
